i just saw this commercial called the IHC- Institute for Human Continuity
and they were mentioning 2012. is this a serious commercial? is there REALLY a whole institute that believes that 2012 stuff? what exactly is that commercial for? is it a scam? im just asking because its kinda freaking me out…if a commercial like this is already broadcasting on TV in 2009…in the actual year of 2012 its gonna be madness…someone please explain this to me.

Cherokee elder and wisdom keeper, John Red Hat Duke, met many times with Hopi Chiefs and elders. He was a close personal friend of John Lansa, who Dottie understands was Hopi Chief of Oraibi over 25 years ago. Elder Red Hat was very good friends with the last Chief of Oraibi and consulted with him on some very important timely issues. John Red Hat’s group of himself, Dottie, and Dr. Robertson was accepted as the Pahana group that the Hopi have been waiting for for centuries. The Chief told them there is one prophecy left to be fulfilled; the return of the tablet to validate Pahana; this is in Creator’s hands. It will be exciting to see how this evolves.

The Hopi were told centuries ago to keep their hairstyle and their way of building houses so when Pahana returned he would recognize them. This White Brother, Pahana, had left and gone East but promised to return. He took the piece of tablet with him so he could bring it back when he returned and the Hopi would recognize him.

Dottie has received some revelation regarding the Hopi since Elder Red Hat’s passing in December of 2003. She was told by Creator that the prophecy in Ezekiel 37 stating that He would unite the House of Judah and the House of Joseph as one, is the same event as the completion of the Hopi migration back to Jerusalem. She understands from Maggid ben Yoseif that this event must take place before the end of 2008 or else another judgment would be put on the House of Israel, the Ten Northern Tribes of which The House of Joseph is apparently the leader. Apparently, if this union does not occur, Israel will be in for much destruction and chaos! It is also likely that what happens to Israel will happen to the rest of the world so we are all affected!

Dottie also received from Creator that the union of the House of Judah and the House of Joseph will result in a combined unit of people called the Rainbow Tribe. This is also fulfillment of a Native American prophecy telling us there will be Rainbow Warriors in the End Days. These will be members of the Rainbow Tribe who will be fighting the Dark Forces, both physically and spiritually.

There is a Hopi prophecy that the Red Force will purify the Hopi people. Dottie believes this Red Force is the high level spiritual path, the Red Road, that she was instructed to write by the ancestors. It is the high-level spiritual path of Abraham which will be the new religion of the time following Armageddon.

There was an ancestor, Elijah, standing behind Dottie guiding her writing. The ancestors shared with her that when a person takes each step of the Red Road one at a time and masters it, she or he will find God when they master the seventh step! Therefore, if the Hopi walk the Red Road, as written by Dottie, they will be purified! Their prophecy will be fulfilled!

Dorothy was taught by Cherokee elder and wisdom keeper, John Red Hat Duke, for over ten years in the Keetoowah Cherokee spiritual ways, in Eastern philosophy, and in Judaism. She was raised Christian so she has a good working knowledge of Christianity. The undeniable fact is that: The Mayans, Egyptians, Nostradamus, have all have predicted that a galactic alignment shall occur on 12/21/2012, modern astronomers have confirmed this as fact. The Book of Revelation in the Bible also predicts that the end-of-the-world will come, in fact the world-religions: Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism have all predicted that Doomsday will occur. Many people believed that the year 2000 was suppose to be the end and nothing happened. Will 12/21/2012 be a similar situation with a lot of hype and then nothing? Most likely nothing will happen?? Why are people making even more of a fuss this time around?

12/21/2012 is probably not going to be Armageddon like the media and Internet Blogs would have you believe. It’s very interesting though, why all the fuss? Eventually another global catastrophe is bound to occur, but will it by chance be on 12/21/2012? I really don’t think any major global catastrophe will happen around that same time frame, but we’ll just have to wait and see. There is no bonafide proof that anyone has ever been able to accurately predict the future!

The Mayans really believed that 12/21/2012 would actually be more of a transition phase, pointing to a new period in time. Eventually mankind will have to change and continue to adapt naturally to the world climate. Remember change usually starts at the family level, after that the government, and after that the world. The Mayan’s were a very superstitious race and they almost certainly would have believed back then that the world would eventually come to and end no later than 12/21/2012. They could be way of base on their prediction, we really don’t now for certain? It could even be sooner or it may be later?

Perhaps you’ve heard about an event, believed to occur in or near Mexico City in six years, which is to signal the end of time or the end of the world.

The event, scheduled to occur in 2012 (some say 2011), is when the ancient Mayan Calendar ends.

In 2012 the Mayan Calendar simply stops. Finis. Done. Over.

Do we really just have only six more years? Is this Mayan event equivalent to the promised biblical Armageddon? Do we need to be frightened? Nervous? Awed? Anxious? Mildly or intensely curious? Do we need to re-look at our investment portfolios? Are we doomed or saved? Just what is this 2012 event?

Let’s take a brief look at the Mayan calendar.

The Mayans – living in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico – are an old culture, dating back to the time of the early Roman Empire in Europe. Their culture and civilization gave rise to several subsequent cultures: the Olmecs; the Toltecs, and the Aztecs. They built pyramids with the same precision as the Egyptians, though not quite as large. They had a very sophisticated understanding of astronomy and mathematics, all of which is reflected in the complexity of their calendar. Then they mysteriously seemed to disappear.

There are nine Underworlds in the universe of the Maya. They are called Underworlds, not because of a Mayan concept of Hell, but because of the activated crystalline structures in the earth’s inner core. These crystalline structures were not “scientifically” known by the Mayans, but were “sensed” or “intuited” by the spiritual priests and tribal leaders, chief of whom was Kukulcan – better known as Quetzalcoatl in the Aztec culture.

Each Underworld consists of seven days and has a duration – a length of time – that is equivalent to twenty times the length of the subsequent underworld. These lengths of time are called “cycles” in the Mayan Calendar. The last day of each cycle contains all of the following cycles, so all cycles will end at the same time. Each cycle is divined to accomplish a “greater” sense of consciousness: Build on the previous cycle and, simultaneously, lay preparations for the following cycle.

A simplified summary follows (for more information on this subject, I would recommend The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness, by Carl Johan Calleman, PhD, Bear & Company Publishers, Rochester, Vermont).

During the initial cycle, the universal consciousness moved from the Big Bang and the creation of matter to the emergence of cell structures. During the second cycle, consciousness moved from cellular structures to mammalian organisms. Consciousness shifted from animals to primates during the third cycle and from primates to humans in the fourth cycle. During the fifth cycle, humans raised their consciousness with the development of a spoken language and a community organization. The sixth cycle began with the development of a written language and a sense of a national consciousness – a consciousness of being a “people” among other organized “peoples.” During the seventh cycle, beginning about the time of The Industrial Age, the idea that we were a global people was germinated. The eighth cycle, which we are currently in, will see that embryonic sense of a global community come to fruition. The last cycle – or age – the Mayan Calendar records will begin in early 2011 and end later that year. It marks the end of our dualistic civilization as we currently know it – east/west, rich/poor, either/or, us/them, me/you – and the beginning of a new order of life: Global citizenship; Intuitive knowledge; Sharing of resources; Cooperation rather than competitiveness; Spirit-driven rather than materialistic-driven.

As mentioned earlier, each “cycle,” according to the Mayans, is twenty times shorter than the one preceding. This rather simple fact of the Mayan Calendar very neatly explains what we have all suspected and often hear: Events not only seem to be speeding up, events are speeding up.

The first cycle began 16.4 Billion years ago, close to when astronomers now fix the Big Bang event and the beginning of the creation of matter. The second cycle began 850 million years ago, near to the timeframe anthropology and geology use as the beginning of the first animals.

The third cycle began 40 million years ago, near to when scientists now believe was the emergence of the first primates. The fourth cycle began 2 million years ago, near to when anthropology places the emergence of the first humans.

The fifth cycle began 102,000 years ago with the probability of the first spoken language, according to anthropologists. The sixth cycle began 5,125 years ago (circa 3100 bce) with the emergence of the first written language – the Sumerians. This sixth cycle, known as the National Underworld, is also the beginning of the Mayan “Long Count” calendar.

The seventh cycle (known as the Planetary Underworld) began 256 years ago (circa the mid-Eighteenth Century), about the time historians place the beginning of the Industrial Age. It was near the end of this cycle that the 1st Harmonic Convergence occurred in August 1987, ushering in a countdown to the end of the Mayan Long Count. The eighth cycle began January 5, 1999 and will last 12.8 years (4680 days). It is the cycle we are currently in and is called by the Mayans the Galactic Underworld.

The Galactic Cycle will be marked by the realization of the true impact of information technology on the global economy, as expressed by the use of the Internet. The marked rise in the importance and role of intuition and the spiritual unity of the global community will also be quite evident. The movement will move rapidly from an either/or (or us/them) mentality to one of true global cooperation and sharing. This phenomenon is often referred to as one of higher vibrations or the beginning of a non-dual cosmic consciousness. Incidentally, the 2nd Harmonic Convergence will occur near the end of this cycle in May 2010.

The ninth cycle, known as the Universal Underworld, will begin on February 11, 2011 and will end on October 28, 2011, lasting only 260 days. At the end of this final 260-day cycle, the Mayan Calendar simply stops. [The date October 28, 2011, the end of the Mayan Calendar, is based on a more recent understanding of the actual beginning of the Mayan "long count" calendar, according to Calleman. The original calculated date marking the beginning of the calendar defined the end of the "long count" as December 21, 2012, the date we hear most about.] Some believe the end of this ninth cycle is also known as the birth of the 6th Sun and the 5th Earth – the beginning of a new 5,125-year cycle.

At the end of the calendar, according to the Mayans, humankind will have direct divine contact, understanding, and consciousness. This will not happen all at once, just as the Industrial Age, which historians generally mark with the invention of Fulton’s steam engine, didn’t happen overnight. However, as industrialism grew, those businesses and industries that refused to adapt simply didn’t survive.

Think of this analogy: Two blacksmiths are standing in front of their shops, across the road from one another, when the first automobile comes putt-puff-putting down Main Street. One blacksmith says to himself, “Harumph! Those ‘iron horses’ will never make it! I fix wagon wheel rims and hand-held plows, and I shoe horses. That’s what I’ll continue to do.” Unfortunately, he probably went out of business. The other blacksmith says to himself, ” I don’t know if cars will last or not, but I do know that it’s made of a lot of iron and I fix iron things. If it breaks, I think I can make the parts to fix it, along with wagon wheels and shoeing horses.” That blacksmith probably did just fine. Perhaps he was the grandfather of Mr. Goodwrench.

It’s an attitude. It’s all in how we perceive change. If we perceive change with fear, we will resist it, like the first blacksmith. We recall the axiom: What one resists will persist. If we welcome change as part of a divine plan (however you choose to define that), then we will adapt, grow, evolve, and even flourish.

The end of the Mayan Calendar is not predicting a physical end of the world – just like a physical end of the world is not described in the Book of Revelations in the Bible. But, according to the Mayans, this last Cycle, the Universal Underworld, does mark an end of the world as we know it – as we have come to understand how things work. This is similar to the Book of Revelations that describes an end to the world as the writer perceived it to be at the beginning of the Second Century. John of Patmos wrote Revelations in visionary “code,” since to be caught with recognized Christian literature was a punishable offense in his time. In a sequence of dream-like visions, he perceives the defeat of evil empires and the establishment of a reign of peace, ruled by God, where we are freed from pain and suffering.

As these shifts in consciousness or shifts in perceived reality occur, there will be persons – those in power, those invested in keeping the things the way they have been, those immersed in religious systems that assuage people’s fears – who will “fight” to prevent change. So, there will be conflict, as is always the case with change. Could the conflict become so severe nuclear weapons could be unleashed and the earth would become uninhabitable? It certainly is possible. Is it probable? I don’t think so.

We’re moving from a level of collective consciousness: 1) Where others are viewed as competitors, 2) Where we see ourselves as survivors scrambling to get our share of what we perceive to be limited (or lack of) resources, and 3) Where we perceive ourselves working, struggling and fighting within all the elements of a dualistic view of the world where we see everything in terms of right/wrong, good/evil, plenty/scarcity, judging/comparing (from our us/them point of view, of course) and have created a world filled with fear, guilt, shame and resentment.

We are moving to an Age of Peace and Harmony, summarized in the ancient Mayan greeting In Lak’ech or “I am another you.” Other spiritual movements have similar traditions. Egyptian and Vedic traditions describe the transformation of consciousness. The Incans, the Hopi, and the Keys of Enoch discussed the return of the Children of Light and the rise in spirituality and decline in religion.

During the last fifty years, Share International has been predicting the emergence of Maitrayea, the world teacher for the new age, and the remainder of a hierarchical of spiritual masters, including the Christ, the fifth Buddha, the Imam Mahdi, and the Messiah. There have been recent writings, such as Lee Carroll’s Indigo Children, that describe a higher form of consciousness and awareness that is emerging today – an emergence that is visible as an indigo-colored aura surrounding these gifted children, many of whom are misunderstood today. Astrologers have been predicting our movement from the Age of Pisces, marked by 5,000 years of idealism and patriarchy, to the multi-centuries lifespan of the Age of Aquarius. This new age will be noted by the resurgence of the power of “the total group” in the raising of consciousness. The Age of Aquarius also will bring back the divine Feminine to create a balance in “unity” consciousness – a healing of the energies between the masculine and the feminine.

Just think what is about to happen: Peace; Harmony; Sharing; Cooperation; Caring for Mother Earth; A Truly Global Sense of Community; The Spirituality of Love (or an Honest Spirituality) Replacing Fear-Based Religiosity. Wow!

Prepare for it. Welcome it.

Some say Jesus was the word, meaning Torah, who came to Earth as flesh and dwelt among us. Therefore, they apply Torah (books of Moses) legalistically.

However, Jesus taught at a higher spiritual level. He taught a spiritual aspect of Torah.

In the books of Moses, we are told “an eye for an eye.” Jesus said this is what the ancients taught, but he went on to say that if someone smites you on the right cheek, turn to him the left also.

In Torah we read that adulterers were to be stoned to death. Yet, when an adulteress was caught in the act and brought before Jesus, he said let him who is without sin throw the first stone. Since no one was left to condemn her, Jesus did not condemn her either and let her go. Here he taught a higher spiritual aspect of the Torah. He was not legalistic in applying the Word of Torah.

In Torah, Moses said to give a wife a letter of divorcement if he was leaving her. But Jesus said Moses only told them to do that because of the hardness of their hearts. He taught that if a man put away his wife, except for fornication, and married someone else, he committed adultery. Matthew 19:8.

How much of the Torah was written as it was because of the hardness of the hearts of the Israelites? Apparently they were not walking the high level spiritual path of Abraham. They had moved away from the wonderful place of walking in harmony with our heavenly Father.

Jesus taught us to love one another. He taught that it is through unconditional love that we gain eternal life. Luke 10:25-28.

We are entering a new age. Humanity is evolving into a higher spiritual level of being. Those who enter the world scene following Armageddon and the Great Purification (prophesied by Hopi,) will walk the Red Road of unconditional love. According to Malachi, others will be burned to stubble. We read there also that the righteous will walk on the ashes of the wicked.

It is time to invite unconditional love to reside in our hearts if we would enter into life.

Hal Lindsey’s The Late Great Planet Earth is a landmark work, having sold millions of copies since its original publication almost forty years ago. Lindsey articulates a clear and concise roadmap for where the world is heading, using Old and New Testament Bible prophecies as the strength of his argument. The central belief put forth by Lindsey is that Jesus Christ is soon returning to earth, probably in this generation, and the Bible clearly states that certain events will foreshadow the Second Coming. Throughout the Bible, the nation of Israel is often referred to symbolically as a fig tree.

Lindsey’s argument is straightforward. The prophets of the Bible predicted the rebirth of Israel in a single day. It happened (14 May 1948). The same prophets predicted Israel would again possess Jerusalem. That also happened (June 1967). So it makes sense to explore the other assertions made by those same prophets, such as the establishment of a Third Jewish Temple and the ascendance of a powerful individual who will shortly thereafter “rule over every tribe and people and language and nation” on the earth (Revelation 13:7). Lindsey explores the personality of this man, traditionally identified as the Antichrist, and also delves into prophecies of predicted political alliances and major end-times events.

Lindsey explains major end times prophetic events (such as the rebirth of Israel, the war of Gog, the revival of ancient Rome, and the ascendance of the Antichrist) in a contemporary language that anyone can understand. In fact, it’s a testament to the divine nature of bible prophecy that many of the events he covers have been partially fulfilled in the thirty plus years since (such as further unification of Europe into a powerful superstate). However, I have a problem with Chapter 12 “World War III”. Lindsey offers a confusing account of Armageddon that includes the Russian invasion of Israel (a pre-rapture event) and attributes many of the actions of the kings of the North and the South to the Antichrist and his contemporaries instead of historical figures such as Alexander the Great, his subsequent heirs, and Antiochus Epiphanes. Most of these references are drawn from misinterpretations of Daniel 11 and Ezekiel 38-39, and a better commentaries on these books can be found elsewhere.

Overall, this is a good book – although some of the more speculative parts are quite dated. My version is from 1993, and I don’t know if the book has been revised or not, but the speculative parts and statistics from the early 1970’s are few and far between. Most of the book focuses on scriptural prophecy, only commenting to inject clear references to the Biblical meaning of words and phrases. As such, The Late Great Planet Earth is a good starting point for those who wish to learn more about what the Bible has to say about humanity’s future. I recommend it to both beginning and expert students of bible prophecy.

Each day the present geo-political reality confirms what The Tribulation Network has been saying for the past two years! All this, while the world still debates whether or not we should call the current War on Terrorism/Terror: The West vs. Radical Islam!

Now, the EU and Iran squabble over Iran’s real intentions–but the US makes plans for taking out Iran’s nuclear threat–this week (August 1-7) is the turning point! Bolton is in place at the UN–Bush is ready to move and faster than you think.

We have termed the spiritual force(s) behind “Radical Islam” the rise of “Gog” that great principality the Bible declares, who under the Prince of Darkness (both now, as found in Ezekiel 38, 39, and Daniel 11:40-45; and at the close the Millennium in Revelation 20:7-10), is summoned to confront Israel at the “End of Days” AND at the conclusion of millenarian bliss.

To announce this, to be utterly cognizant and Biblically affirmed in this scenario, does not mean that we here at The Tribulation Network are hell-bent on an Armageddon strategy and full of gloom and doom. There’s hope beyond the criminality and destruction that is going on out there–most of which acclaims “peace and safety” to all who would join in assailing the prospect of Gog and those allied with this principality (Magog).

Kenneth Timmerman’s much-acclaimed exposure on Teheran’s intentions (The Coming Nuclear Showdown with Iran) has been given overwhelming exposure in the “conservative media” and even some liberals concur with his nuclear suspicions. A quick read of Timmerman’s immediate conclusions portend an exceedingly aggressive Iran with 30 deliverable nukes on the ready–we’re talking a major crisis here where even the French (can you believe) would side with the US and go after Iran!

TBN/LEFT-BEHIND CHRISTIANITY’S SCENARIO

Likewise, we have repeatedly warned of the folly, false hope–yea, deception, fraught with pride and false patriotism, which cripples the evangelical Church in America from her true testimony to the Cross of Christ!

Their shameful display of such in the War on Terror, in the name of the Son of God–against the “Evil Doers”–is akin to the cutting off of the ear of the servant of the high priest wrought by impetuous Peter that night in the Garden of Gethsemane in order to protect his Master . . . as if the Master needed any sword of man!

Our previous tomes have excoriated our beloved brother, Dave Hunt, for his persistent denial of Gog’s specificity–claiming it all blends together into Armageddon. This he deliberately does, I surmise, because of the Premillenarian embarrassment of claiming that Gog-Magog was for decades believed to be Russia and her Arab allies–but that stupidity ended when the Cold War terminated any real Russian threat (Note: If Biblicists would have taken the nations “literally” – as they are wont to do – the current alignment of nations in the Middle East found in Gog-Magog, and recorded in Ezekiel 38-39, is nigh perfect!). Today’s Russia is, as Vladimir Putin put it: The greatest geopolitical tragedy of the century–while decrying the onslaughts of the New Roman Empire: The USA.

By blurring the distinctions of Gog-Magog from that of Armageddon would be one thing–but Hunt (as pointed out), not only blurs these distinctions (allegedly to make amends to Premillenarian exegetical excesses) but asserts that we have naught to worry for the Church’s Rapture (and that but a scarce 200 million will rapture–I guess akin to the 200 million figure mentioned in Revelation 9:16 of those armies of the Kings of the East who shall assault the Middle East) or His coming for precludes any involvement (or testimony) to any future or revealed Antichrist and the forces of darkness.

In other words, Hunt’s eschatology precisely mirrors the Left Behind Series eschatology of Tim LaHaye and Hal Lindsey (America’s top book sellers!)–falsely, as far as we are biblically concerned–leaving the entire 70th Week of Daniel to Israel of the flesh to fend off the Prince of Darkness and his minions, while getting pounded for their rejection of Messiah, until He finally shows up.

Somehow, however, as other Pretribulationists/Premillenarians explain (and here’s where their theology does great insult to the doctrine of being “in Christ” (i.e., being a part of the Body of Christ))–a vast multitude of “Tribulation Saints” shall arise during this awful time of the revealed Antichrist to contend with his Pax Antichristus; however, their “salvation” is akin to those of the Old Testament (whatever that means or can mean since the cross of Christ persists straight through the 70th Week of Daniel).

Nonsense, these “Tribulation Saints” described in Revelation 4-on, until the coming of our Lord in bodily form, are as much “in Christ” – as much a part of the Church here and present – as we believers in Christ are this very day!

Hence, there is full justification, yea, absolute value in support of all “wars of liberation and democratization” throughout the planet wrought by these United States of America–though they be unilateral, pre-emptive, and self-serving of our national interest–because the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition, the Lawless One “who is after the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish” (II Thess. 2:9-10) has NOT been “revealed in his own time” (II Thess. 2:6) and will not be so revealed (so says Dave Hunt) until “He who now restrains (i.e., the Holy Spirit and, ipso facto, the Church) will do so until He (the Holy Spirit, along with the Church) is taken out of the way (i.e., Hunt/LaHaye/Lindsey’s alleged Rapture of the Church).

It is this faulty exegesis and cruel subterfuge which lulls the Body of Christ at the close of this age into a false sense of security and formidable deception AND under this vulnerability, commits her to the War on Terror–compounding the error of Balaam and the gospel of prosperity and wealth within the overall Laodicean expression of the current apostasy wherein the god Mammon is worshiped and adored, as the Green Gospel persists from sea to shining sea!

TBN’s MEGIDDO–SEQUEL TO “THE OMEGA CODE”

Lewis McNeely, Senior Pastor of Warehouse Ministries (who is also an avowed Calvary Chapel Pretribber), Sacramento, California, gave the Megiddo film a four-star rating and claimed:

“Biblically, the film appears sound, allowing enough speculation to not offend anyone’s end-times interpretations . . . Overall a great film with an even better conclusion. Go see this and pay full price!”

Of course Pastor McNeely would encourage its viewing–it utterly supports his patriotic views and end-times scenario. Alas! The you-can-have-your-cake-and-it-it-too proponents of “bless-me-Christianity” are more than thrilled to pay full price to see such a resounding confirmation of their eschatology!

Thus it was on the evening of July 23 that I actually viewed the film myself–all the while musing over McNeely’s remarks that it was well-worth the original price to be paid right after 9/11’s attack; and, since I abide within the confines of Laodicean Christendom, why not? In point of fact Michael York, interviewed after the performance (and, by the way, he’s an excellent actor/performer–no problem there as Antichrist) amplified the significance of the film’s release shortly after 9/11 as a “rare exception” to all other violent films being placed on hold: Except Megiddo’s carnage.

And, why was this? Because of its solid USA-patriotic agenda.

Michael Biehn (Terminator, The Abyss, The Seventh Sign) plays David Alexander, the brother of antichrist York (Stone Alexander). The $20-million film released by the Crouches (Matthew and Paul of TBN) depicts a turn-of-the-century premillenarianism/pre-tribulationalism (in the main) view of eschatology–with a super-duper patriotic twist that utterly exonerates the USA, aside from a demonic-style Secretary of State who attempts to dethrone Biehn (who as Vice-President inherits the Presidency of the USA when Stone Alexander greets the USA President near Rome in an attempt to persuade him to join the New World Order under the yet-revealed Antichrist). The USA President is implanted, upon a handshake with Antichrist, with a biologically-transmitted disease which kills the USA President.

But . . . lo and behold, USA President Biehn/Alexander holds out against his antichrist brother, Stone Alexander, in a clash of American patriotism (good) vs. awful Antichrist Globalism (evil)–escaping the coup of the demon-possessed Secretary of State (played by a white male–just thought I’d mentioned it) . . . now, Biehn helicopters over to the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea and launches an all-out assault against antichrist York at his palace near Rome (and, of course, a sinister False Prophet, wrapped in clerical garb with incessant whisperings between the AC/False Prophet takes place throughout the film). The AC escapes to the Middle East and amasses allies from no less than 10 (ten, as in ten toes) from around the globe–most of the world’s “ten quadrants” siding with him (except, for some inexplicable reason, Mexico/Latin America, and, of course, China).

America flags are blazoned on all kinds of tanks as the armies of the world gather on the plains of Megiddo (which, actually was a set just outside of Los Angeles–couldn’t film on the actual Jezreel Plain of Megiddo because of the Intafada). No bother though, Biehn decides he’ll personally assassinate his brother, AC-York, notwithstanding a Latin-type compatriot who attempts to dissuade him otherwise (man, the Mexican Army had the Mexican flag on their tanks–undoubtedly, leading the Latin American forces allied with the USA against the AC). Alas, Biehn is caught and subjected to total humiliation and nigh killed by AC-York himself!

Then . . . while all “hell is breaking loose” between the forces of AC-York and the 200 million-man army of the Chinese (a.k.a., Kings of the East, led by none other than the Premiere of China himself) with the USA somehow allied against AC-York’s forces (Interesting, isn’t it?); and when AC-York morphs into the beast-like creature of the classical Hollywood Satan (horns, tail, etc.) . . . and when the whole earth is about to be murdered by the “Murderer from the beginning” – Christ arrives and the Devil is cast into the bottomless pit and seen with chains wallowing around in the fiery seas of the Abyss: GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Now, while all this was going down–and I’m really “into this flick” by now–there’s this absurd ticker-tape caption scrolling along the bottom of the TV set saying something like: To all the men and women of the United States Armed Forces fighting for peace in Iraq, your cause is just, we are with you, and our prayers are with you, return home soon!

Man, the incongruity and surrealism of it all–I was going out of what was left of my mind! This audacious identification of the Church of Jesus Christ with America’s alleged cause in the Final Conflict was mind boggling–absolutely, mind-numbing in its distorted, corrupted, and absurd message. This was all the more evident as witnessed by this ridiculous subscript skirting beneath the pictured distortions and scenario. Aside from the good acting–the whole thing was a complete fraud!

NO, I DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR DEFAMING THIS SHAMLESS EFFORT OF THE PATRIOTIC CHURCH!

Friends, and those of you “secularists” watching this on-going “food fight” amongst us absolutists–pay attention–you better believe that these nuances are so glaring, overt, and downright dangerous in their extrapolations and Weltanschauung (world view), that you out there who are trying to pay the bills, better listen up . . . there’s literally tens of millions of American Christians caught up in this deception: IT IS RIFE. It is the very insidious stupidity of this film, akin to America’s multi-million dollar best seller-series, Left-Behind; and the doctrinal credence given to this scenario by such credible figures as Dave Hunt, that not only has ill-prepared the Church for her greatest hour–but has made that very Church part and parcel of America’s War on Terror!! Lord spare us from a pseudo-patriotism that takes the USA straight through Armageddon smelling like a rose, instead of the foul smell of the Titanarum–which looks impressive but stinks to high heaven!

ALL THIS WHILE GOG-MAGOG IS RISING–CHURCH, LISTEN UP!

WARS WITHOUT, WARS WITHIN . . .

I found myself last week on some absurd forum entitled WARRIORS – next thing you know they were calling me a spy, a fifth-columnist, and traitor–dare I equate America with Nazi Germany! How stupid and useless of me to ascribe such comparisons as valid–eventually, they kicked me out of their “Warrior” forum (took them long enough–about 10 minutes!). Man, I must have wondered into a nest of alleged patriots bent on killing a couple million Moslems or something, just prior to taking away my “free speech rights!”

And, would you believe: CONGRESS PASSES THE PATRIOT ACT’s EXTENSION (http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/07/22/london.tube/index.html) -makes 14 of 16 provisions of the PA effective for the next ten years! Naturally, just as in Nazi Germany–Americans were delighted at the additional security measures being taken to protect us all. Yes, this little bit by bit progression into precaution-land USA continues unabated–no sense talking about comparisons here.

Then, Michael Klare of The Nation reassures us all:

“Repeating what was said at the outset (of his remarks), there is no evidence that President Bush has already made the decision to attack Iran. But there are many indications that planning for such a move is well under way–and if the record of Iraq (and other wars) teaches us anything, it is that such planning (like just before Iraq), once commenced, is very hard to turn around. Hence, we should not wait until after relations with Iran have reached the crisis point to advise against US military action. We should begin acting now, before the march to war becomes irreversible.” (My Note: Now doesn’t Michael sound reasonable and assuring?)

So, there you have it: Scores of Islamic mad-bombers, armed with suitcase nukes pouring across our border with our ally Mexico; and, Iran’s nuclear program is utterly “at the brink” (no, President Bush hasn’t formulated a plan to democratize Iran, doesn’t need to!); scores are being killed all over the world–London, Egypt, Beirut, Israel, Thailand, Iraq–and Islamic Radicals are wondering if the West will ever wake up and finally see the West isn’t fighting against the Liberation Tigers of the Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka nor the IRA or the ETA (Basque terrorists)–or for that matter, Shining Path, et al . . . . No, a thousand times NO! We are fighting them, you idiots–they’re staring us right in the face and we are so politically correct we can’t see straight!

Man, what an awful thought–that your Islamic neighbor, fellow student, shopkeeper, and shopper at K-Mart is not only sympathetic to OBL but prays to Allah for OBL’s goals and aspirations for a triumphant Islam in his war against the West and, not only so, actually supports those who support OBL! That little “security problem” will be horrific once a dirty bomb goes off–forget it, no time to blame Homeland Security–but lots of time to go after the Fifth Column amongst us . . . “and then they came for me!”

SECULARISTS BEWARE!

Don’t get so smug in your effete perceptions . . . Stalinists, utopian crackpots on the Left abound whose tortuous ways need no amplification here. You stand out there in your academician tower and claim membership in the “Church of the Immaculate Perception” – confirmed in your belief that “We wouldn’t be having these problems if these idiot absolutists/religionists would discover the joys of the Enlightenment, the Scientific Revolution, true Humanism; and, join the Progressive Earth with our utopian socialist ideals (of one sort or another).

Shame on you–history’s as much against you and your pontifications as it is against absolutists–AND YOU KNOW THAT . . . need I explain the millions who perished in the Gulag! And don’t try to differentiate between Uncle Joe/Mao and Che–that’s not going to work either.

So–where do we go from here? None of this is going to change the real Messianic Scenario, the Gog-Magog War, and the ultimate Battle of Armageddon, nor the manifestation of THE Antichrist–that’s all going to happen!

The real issue here is: What ON EARTH are you going to do about it–and I’m talking spiritual here? You bet I am. In brief: Prepare to meet your Maker, and now! Time’s running out–you not only sense that from every compelling prospect; you actually abhor the thought you just might have to do something about it (if you think deep enough).

What hope can you hold out to the peoples of the earth–aside from resuscitating the NPT (Nuclear Proliferation Treaty) or putting teeth into it? Your desperate attempts to reform the system–to keep the progressive “juggernaut” alive is akin to the clash of the Bismarck vs. the Hood: You don’t have a Kaiser’s chance in h-e-double-toothpicks!

Christ–the real Jesus Christ–is there. You know He’s never been for the sword and NEVER has He ever ascribed to Augustine’s JUST War–NEVER! There’s something far beyond the surface of Christianity that demands your and my utter submission IN LOVE! That’s right. LOVE! He calls you, me, and everyone–not to the Sword of Dominionist Christianity, to the parapets of Crusader Reconstructionism, to the continual confrontation of Islam–but to His Cross!

Give it up–give in to God’s full and complete manifestation of pure love through Jesus Christ our Lord. He’s calling you today–He’s calling me today–to enlist with Him and to testify in the “Street of the Great City: BABYLON.”

Say it, say it softly, and then say it loudly: “Lord, I give up . . . I submit to Your Lordship, Your way of doing things . . . save me by the blood of Your Cross alone . . . I confess I cannot do it myself–You are my salvation . . . You took my sin, my wretchedness, my selfishness and nailed them to Your Cross . . . I accept Your freedom; Your Life in the midst of this chaos all around me . . . now, pour out Your Life through me to bring hope amidst despair, Life where there is death, and comfort where there is utter discouragement: JESUS TAKE ME NOW and make me Your vessel of righteousness . . . not for me, but for Your glory at the close of this age. Yes, Lord, I can hear you now!
